Brindavanam (Nice Effort.A Relief amongst Action Packed movies)

Story : Krish is a Rich guy who enjoys life and never see hatred ness. His lover Indu asks him to act as Boy friend of his classmate and frined  Bhumi to save Bhumi from unwilling marriage. Krish forced to accept this wish and enters as lover of Bhumi.Bhumi Father is Decision maker of his village and there is a aged hatredness between Bhumi's father and Bhum's Uncle (Father's brother) due to a cunning fellow.How Krish replaced the hatredness in all places with love and united two families into a single one as Brindavananam and whom did he married to is rest of the story.

Analysis : Movie starts with good tempo and Vamshi used avaialble situations to present NTR in action angle as the story did not give much scope for the action.First half entertaines and ignites the interest and we might get the feeling that movie is completed once you see the interval.But Vamshi managed to get audience involved with story in very start of the second half.Climax part Vamshi intellectually utlilized Nari Nari Naduma Murari theme and convinces.

Vamshi Paidipalli really appreciable for his fire to prove himself as succesful director and done all he can to come out of the disaster munna.Though the movie has parts which resembled so many old movies with the charecterization and screen play Vamshi mesmorizes.He has shown once again that he is a superb Techinitian and each and every frame in the movie is colorful and technically rich.

N.T.R is awesome in this movie.Only in some parts N.T.R is outperformed by the story and remaining part of the movie you just enjoys the performance of the NTR and he is fresh with his new attire.He shown the perfect maturity in dailog delivery in all scences and near to perfection.He is good in action and dance as usual.Brahmanandam and Venumadhav entertains.Kajla outperformed Samanth and Samantha is dint look as beatiful as in her first movie.Modern dresses might be the reason.

Story gave fresh feeling even though it has copy shades and attracts the family crowd after long gap.Kota, Prakash Raj and Sreehari acted in their roles splendidly and Direction is neat most of the parts.

On the whole Brindavanam is nice family entertainer which may give relief in intense action movies time.

Robo(Eye Feast on Indian Silver screen)

Story :  A scientist prepares a robo called humanoid which has feelings and scientist's intention is to submit it to millitary.But due to the injected feelings the Robo fall in love with scientist's girl friend.And the Robo is mallprogrammed for destruction and will turned into a villain.How scientist resolved this issue and saved his girl friend is rest of the story.





Anlaysis: Though turning humans to robos came so many times in hollywood but a robo with feelings concept is fresh to me and Shankar is succeeded in showing Robo actions in logical way. No one sees Rajani in Robo charecter and when Robo is dismantled everyone should feel sad about the Robo.Shankar gave a splendid charectarization to Robo and at the sametime he has shown limitations and innovative thinking of human brain in climax.First half is amusing part with Shankar dominating with his direction while the second half is completly Rajani's and outperformed Shankar.We enjoy Robo playing with scientist very well and especially the visual effects in climax are magnam opus which shows Shankar's imaginative power.
Though it has some glitches like how robo reconstruts it self in the dump yard and mosquito scences etc. those are faded with Shankar and Rajani fight.This shows really the south india film making standards and gave a buzzing alarm to North India as well as world.I personally enjoyed the movie verywell and in recent times it is the best sci-fii thiriller on Indian Screen.

I am not giving regular style of +ve and -ves points as this movie has so many positives and very minute glithces. I think we must appreiate this kind of effort and gave the feeling that we are watching some hollywood sci fi thriller not an Indian or telugu movie.

Special Mention : Super Star Rajanikanth. Today's high energetic young stars should learn from the super star and Rajani really showed why he is super star.Through out the movie no one see the Rajani everyone convinced that it is really a Robo and Rajani continued that tempo till end in his style espesially second half.At his age he stood as inspiration to fellow actors and really he deserves a standing ovation. Great Rajani.
Even Aish also looked very pretty and in some scenes no one sees Robo or Rajani just stares at Aish like that.

On the whole this time Shankar entertained Rajani fans and common man also and did almost perfect.I rate this movie as DvD Collection Item. Go and Watch it.

Don Seenu (Nothing special)

About the Movie:

After Kick from the same banner Dubai seenu changed his attire as Don Seenu now. Seenu is so passionate about the Amithab's Don movie and thinks himself as a Don and make this dream as an ambition and move away from the home. To fulfill his dream he joins in one of the two big danda's of Hyderabad and on an assignment moves to Germany. He has to flatter the sister of his boss's rival and then he met with Sriya and her friend.There Sriya and Seenu fell in love and when they back to Hyderabad seenu came to know that Sriya is not his boss's rival's sister and she is in turn his boss's sister .How Don Seenu  solved this issue and played with two dons and what is the connecting thread you need to watch on the screen.

In Recent past we are seeing that excessive copying of a hit formula.Ready can be said as Trend setter after which humor,love and action mixed hi drama content movies are releasing one after another.Siddu from Sikakulam, Namo Venkatesa,and recent Don Seenu are few to quote. Gopichand Malineni seems to be on good track in first 30-40 min of the movie and going with the Don thread is given a fresh feeling.But after that he chosen Sreenu Viatla kind of screenplay and bored the audience.As a debutant he proved his talent in some of the scenes.But to become a successful director he has to depend on his own style like Trivikram,Puri and Chandra Sekar Yeleti. Even though we may fail for first attempt but if your style is unique you will definetly succeed, thats what history says.

Depending on excessive usage of glamor and action will not result success. Recent Raviteja's Anjaneyulu is an example.Connecting all the dots in just 10-15 minutes will not give happy ending feeling.It may seems to be good on logical front but thats not suffice. Don Seenu is nothing special except for first half an hour Don episode.Venu Madhav and Brahmanandam gives some relief but on a stroy front Don Seenu is not Don yet. 

Special Mention :Its better for Raviteja to leave the same kind of Roles and try to think some thing new.Though whenever he tried to do new he was not successful, this kind of characterization will not help him either.We need to learn alot from Bollywood/Kollywood in this aspect. For last three or four movies Raviteja is the only positive factor and thats not a good sign for a potential actor like Raviteja

Verdict: Comedy is good but Story and screenplay disappoints

About the Movie:

Gaayam -2 is the sequel for well known Varma made Gaayam, which turned Jagapathibabu career as an actor and Hero.After long time Varma brought another Gaayam to tollywood. The movie starts with a cool guy,Ram who is running a coffee shop in Bangkok with his wife. Gurunarayana is the opposition leader in Hyderabad and waiting for a chance to become CM. In an incident Ram kills two bad people and becomes Hero. Gurunarayan's son see this and terrifies. Durga is the enemy of Gurunarayana. Gurunarayan said that he already killed Durga and Ram is different from Durga. To validate this Gurunarayana's lawyer goes to Bangkok and pesters Ram to accept that he is Durga. Ram gives re entry to Hyderabad as Durga due to some constraints.How Durga and Gurunarayan fought each other you  need to watch on the silver  screen.

Frankly speaking, Gaayam 2 is no match with Gayam. It gives immense happy feeling when we see some part of Gaayam. That is power Gaayam.But that's not a fullstop for this review.Praveen sri must be appreciated for making a sequel and his courage to match with the classic piece. The movie starts with an animate frog and snake piece reminds you hollywood filck. For first 20 min there are no worthy moments and if you miss the movie for first 20 mins also you can enjoy the remaining movie. Second song gives Ilayaraja's touch and Harshavardhan tried to fill the comedy gap.After 20 mins the movie picks up pace in the screenplay and seems to be going fine.But the director did not maintain the tempo in second half hurryness or half baked direction is shown in some frames.Durga return must be a grand scene and his power establishment must be shown.But again Praveen sri tried to mesmorize the audience with Kota performance.Climax also too week. "Swaarajya mavalaeni" song usage is not appropriate.

Special Applause: Jagapathi's Physic (From Old Gayam to Gayam 2).Kota and Tanikella Bharani's performances.

Verdict: Can be much better..Can watch for once
